Our Research Focus
We are keen on unraveling the complexities of light perception in plants and its impact on growth and defense mechanisms. We combine molecular biology, omics, photobiology as well as plant and stress physiology to identify molecular player behind plant (growth/defense) decision-making in plants. Our goal is to provide insights that can contribute to sustainable agriculture, improved crop productivity, and better understanding of plant adaptation to changing environments.
